Project Goals

Sherri Mills wanted to have her own site to help set herself apart and stand out from her broker’s site and within her market. Sherri came to us through our partnership with Real Estate Marketing Dude who was helping her to create a compelling brand message through regular videos on YouTube.

Key Requirements

A non-traditional realtor website with less focus on the market and listings, and more focus on her customer's home buying and selling journey

Highlight Charity

Place emphasis and attention on Sherri's charitable efforts through donation of a percentage of her commission

Emphasis on Video

Highlight Sherri's videos throughout the site

Video Blog

A blog that highlights and drives traffic to new YouTube videos

Integration with CRM

Automated integration between site contact forms and Sweet Assist - Real Estate Marketing Dude's proprietary customer relationship management (CRM) software

Empowerment & Collaboration

The site needed to be easy for Sherri to manage on her own and offer collaboration for staff at Real Estate Marketing Dude to post on her behalf

Our Solution

We set out to accomplish Sherri’s goals and created a custom solution to rise to the occasion.

Ideas Generated

  • ZNo market reports here!
  • ZWe created a clean layout that highlights who Sherri is and why people trust her as their chose agent
  • ZWe highlighted Sherri's videos front and center to help tell her story
  • ZCreated a blog layout and design to highlight videos and content as they're released
  • ZCreated a custom integration using webhooks and Zapier to allow Sherri's site to communicate with her CRM software
  • ZWe made it easy for Sherri to update her site on her own and provided access to the site for Real Estate Marketing Dude's staff to post on her behalf

Sherri’s website is almost entirely client-managed with the exception of hosting, security and maintenance provided by our Website Maintenance Plan.

We wanted to ensure that the site was accesible to visitors with disabilities, so we deployed our Accessibility Widget.

I have wanted a website for years but the task seemed too daunting…too much time required, too many decisions, too much content to write. Then I met Adam. In a very short time, I had a website I was proud of and that can grow in phases. If you want a website, Adam is the one to hire…hands down.

Ever considered what it would cost to replace all of your website's conetnt if your site were ever compromised?

We built this Content Replacement Cost Calculator to help you quickly estimate that cost.

Time is money. No matter if it's a business or a hobby, your content is worth the time you've invested in it. Whether that's designing and implementing everything, writing posts, creating pages or making tweaks to make sure everything is perfect.

We think the minimum amount of time it takes to write a (good) blog post or a page is 30 minutes. If you think about it, we all probably spend a lot more time on content than that. Next time you start writing a blog post, time yourself.

So what's your time really worth? When you do the numbers, you realize what you've invested in your site and what it would take to replace it if you lost it all.

TIP: To figure out your hourly rate, divide your annual salary by 2080 hours, assuming you work a standard 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year.
